Role: Data Analyst & Visualizer
Team Size: Solo

A day-to-day tracker that tracks your daily achievements and converts the data to XP that you can use to quantify and gamify your daily tasks.

About

How might I build a daily task tracker that converts data to XP?
By using a set of functions that count up your total tasks completed and converts it to XP based on a rank system
Calendar & Tasks
Used inputs "1" and "x" to indicate if a task is completed in a day or not. The XP column then counts up all the 1s and outputs an XP score

The addition of conditional formatting that looks for "1" and "x" color codes your inputs for better accessibility and readability

 Monthly
Left: COUNTIFs were used to calculate the number of days in a month you get either a 4, 3, 2, 1, or 0, giving you the ability to gauge the overall quality of your month

Right: Used a formula to calculate the monthly XP gained and gives you % based on how close you got to a perfect month

Weekly
COUNTIFs were used to calculate the number of days in a week (Sun to Sat) you get either a 4, 3, 2, 1, or 0, giving you the ability to gauge the overall quality of your week

The total amount of XP is the (quality rating of the day) x (total number of ratings), summed up

The "%" is the % of your closeness to a perfect week, which is (XP/(4 x days in the week))

Rankings
Used multiple conditions in conditional formatting, calling for each cell to change color when the user crosses a certain point threshold, indicating your rank
